About the Meeting

The Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association (GPPA) is dedicated to promoting professional values and ethics in the practice of psychiatry, as well as access to the highest quality of medical care through support of education and advocacy for our profession, our patients, and their families.

In addition, GPPA provides accessible and affordable continuing medical education (CME) that supports lifelong learning for psychiatrists through live-format, scientific and professional exchanges. These scien- ti cally valid and commercially unbiased CME activities support improved patient care and enhance com- petencies in medical knowledge, current research, practice-based learning, and medical professionalism.

This year's GPPA Summer Meeting is being co-hosted by the Southern Psychiatric Association. GPPA meeting attendees will have the opportunity to register to attend additional CME courses on Thursday afternoon for up to 3 CME credit hours. The program will begin on Thursday, August 3 at 12:15pm.
