Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to

  • Appreciate the complexity of PTSD and its treatment 
  • Understand pharmcologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of PTSD
  • Discuss the literature on treatment approaches for cannabis misuse during the early course of psychotic disorders
  • Better assess motivational level to change and match treatment to motivational level
  • Describe the impact of the latest national health policies on Georgia healthcare
  • Explore psychiatric conditions with skin manifestations in regards to management as well as identify patients in need of referral to dermatology
